It has been reported that Man Utd have agreed personal terms with Di Canio. Now they are trying to agree a fee with West ham.

plus also the sun had the di canio story so you definitly know it's true.

Still, its too large of an investment for an 29 year old.

I think the board proved thier word when spent £28M on Veron.

As for this story, it was reported on the bbc's website this morning. A pritty reputable site.

they were throwing figures of 20 million around for rivaldo when that speculation was going around which was a good price in my opinion.

errr...maybe because rivaldo would cost £40 million.....

I think thats a bit different to getting blanc on a free...

And Di-canio would be around £3M.

United havnt denied anything....although west ham have...

ermmmm what happened to the *oh we can't sign Rivaldo he's too old at 29* rubbish and here they are first signing blanc who's 36 and now di canio at 33 what's up with that?

I think that deal's a load of rubbish!! Why would Fergie go for another over 30 after seeing what Blanc was like at first, and what feedback he recieved for it! Although Di Canio is a top attacker but I just don't feel he'd be right at United. He's doing very well at West Ham, and should stay there to keep his loyalty and help his club achieve something big under a new manager.

Thats all very well, because Di Canio is a very good player. But its a shame for our other strikers (Bar Nistlerooy) Where do they go? In the reserve team?! No. I think we may see some transfer listed people soon.

Did anyone also see that Celtics manager may be taking over a United?
