It has been reported that Man Utd have agreed personal terms with Di Canio. Now they are trying to agree a fee with West ham.

Looks like the rumours were true :D

Valencia apparetly rejected the bid...

Although United say they didnt make a bid at all...

Di canio apparently should sign before the southampton game...

Apparently Inter want Beckham on Loan, so they can decide if he is worth £40M...Would you leave United if you were Beckham? The fans totally worshiped him after the villa game. It was like FA cup semi replay with arsenal all over again....

Yorkie has been linked to villa today i think. Any club left that he hasnt been linked to?!

Reports from Spain Indiacte that United have made a £15M bid for Valenica's Argentine Ayala.

Sounds good to me.

Blatently we need another defender if fergie wants to even think about winning the champs league.

Papers today say that Fergie only offered about £1.75m for Mr. Di Canio, whereas Roeder says he is worth £3.5 so that's why they turned it down. Ferguson just tried his luck with a cheapie offer, he'll be there in the next week for Champ League registration.

VERY big risk signing carew. he's got the old jumpers knee condition which is career threatening. he is having surgery to sort it out sometime but then it's only a 50/50 chance. i think it's what johnsen had. so paying 11 million for someone who could be crocked in a season or 2 seasons time isn't good business sense really. forlan and larsson would be 2 great signings especially seeing as there's talk of van nistelrooy maybe carrying an injury

Henrik Larsson would be the perfect strike partner for Van Nistelrooy and he definately woudn't cost a lot, around 9 million is his valuation.

"Of course, everybody should feel very good when you listen to good words from Sir Alex Ferguson, one of the best managers in the world."

"We are talking about the best team - alongside Real Madrid in my opinion - in the world. Playing for them has to be fantastic."

Words of Di Canio today.

Should sign for sure in the next few days.

but.....

"Very late on Friday afternoon we did receive a faxed offer from Manchester United for the services of Paolo Di Canio but we turned it down.

"We sent a fax back to say we couldn't accept their offer. It's now up to people to ask Manchester United what the next step will be."

Words of West ham boss after the game today....

Whats gonna happen?

I agreee now actually after remembering how good Carew was and seeing him, i think he would be a good buy for Manchester United.

Beckham won't leave, Montella would cost a lot, cuz he plays in Italy, Di Canio wouldn't quite be good enough for United, and Carew would be a much better option!!

If you havnt noticed...Yorke could be moving within next few days. Van nistelrooy cant play every bloody game. He needs a rest now and again. And Veron plays down the right wing now anyway. Beckham has only started one of the last 8 games.
