Bit late creating this, but what do you reckon about what the result will be? Seems most likely a draw, but I still think it's more than possible for England to get a victory and it doesn't look too likely that Pakistan can win.

Really depends if Harmy can dig into the batting straight away I guess. Also I'm thinking Monty will see a lot of action today: the wicket seems to be favouring spinners a bit more now.

Any thoughts then?

Harmison really roughed up Pakistan and they were completely stumped. (If you think that was a pun, you are wrong. :))

And it seems like Read will get his chance. I hope he takes it because I've been going on about getting Geraint Jones out of there for a while.

Well deserved victory, I hope England can repeat this performance every time they play. :-D

Good to hear Harmison hasn't picked up at injury, let's hope he can do something special again.

Also, looks like Jayawardene is going to try and do a Brian Lara.

Edit - Woo first wicket down thanks to Harmy. :-D

Great to see Harmison having a go with the bat now too: he's currently on 19 with 3 fours. Great stuff. :)

And then hopefully England can get a good 400 or so runs, that'll be of great help! :D

Yup and hopefully there'll be no rain interruption.

A decent day for England. Harmison really tore into them and Panesar cleaned up the rest. England need to press home the advantage by getting a good score.

Well, that's Flintoff out for the summer. Should be back for the Ashes if his rehab goes well.

I thought it was interesting that Collingwood was bowling different to how he usually bowls. Usually, he bowls a straight 70-80mph seam but he was bowling slower breaks.

Strauss was probably a bit cautious. Flintoff should be more adventurous in a similar position.

I'm not sure about a 2nd spinner. Giles reckons he'll be back for the Ashes but it's difficult to see who to leave out.

Maybe declaring a bit earlier would have changed the result, but I think England made the right decision to secure atleast a draw, shame it couldn't have been more but, if they play like they did, at Old Trafford they should be able to pull it off.

As for the missing bowler, the commentators were saying two spinners may have done the trick but they couldn't think of one. What about Dalrymple? He's already proven he can do stuff with both the bat and ball, but the problem would be who would you lose from the squad? Then again maybe Freddie is the answer. Guess we'll see.
