The question is do I want one?

My phone contract is up for renewal, and I checked at the site I've had the last two from for good introductory offers.
(I don't particularly want a phone upgrade, the low-tech stuff does the job fine).

***Phone blah deleted because neither you or I care. You get a crap old phone, but I'd still use the old handset I have at the mo, and am happy with, thanks.***

And you get a free PS2 with a 1 year min phone contract.

Anyway, too much about phones. Forget that. My Q plays dvds (better than a ps2 can), and I think all I'd play on it would be GTA VC. But it's free.
And the phone contract would probably cost about £5 a month more. Ie, £60 for the whole year.

Not sure if I want it.

For good reason, it's sh--.

Rugby is one of the single most boring sports known to man.

Or just sell it on Ebay (or where ever) for as much as possible... then you'll actually have made money from the deal! :D

I think you made the right descision in getting the PS2, just because it's free.

It may not have any games that come near to anything like a Mario or Zelda adventure, and that Dark Cloud looks like a blatant 'Zelda-clone', but unless you've got a top-of-the-range, brand-new PC, you'll be missing out on the 2 Grand Theft Auto games. And Pro Evolution Soccer 2/Winng Eleven 6 still hasn't been confirmed to get a release anywhere outside of Japan, if I am correct? You could also try that Ratchet and Clank game, which is actually supposed to be pretty good.

And at least it's free!

It's worth it just to get MGS and Pro Evo, but as they both appear to be arriving on the Cube, my main use for my PS2 is DVD playback and the occasional bout of Smackdown.

Well, I ordered it.

In 2 to 8 weeks I'll be the proud (?) owner of my very own PS2.

Odd, I'd considered buying an Xbox, but never really wanted a PS2, except for the GTA series.

But since it's free... :^)

Does this mean I'll have to post in the sony forum? *shudder*
;^)

Final Fantasty 10 is surpose to be a bit p00. But I'm still gonna get it at some point.

You get Virtua Fighter 4, Tekken 4, Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid 2 2nd hand n cheap (even though I think I'm gonna wait for Substance now).

You also get EA Rugby! Wooha! Don't get that on the Cube!
