My phone contract is up for renewal, and I checked at the site I've had the last two from for good introductory offers.
(I don't particularly want a phone upgrade, the low-tech stuff does the job fine).
***Phone blah deleted because neither you or I care. You get a crap old phone, but I'd still use the old handset I have at the mo, and am happy with, thanks.***
And you get a free PS2 with a 1 year min phone contract.
Anyway, too much about phones. Forget that. My Q plays dvds (better than a ps2 can), and I think all I'd play on it would be GTA VC. But it's free.
And the phone contract would probably cost about £5 a month more. Ie, £60 for the whole year.
Not sure if I want it.

Hmm, we had a bit of trouble with it playing the red dwarf II disk a while back, so I can't really sell it. I'm checking it with a few other disks though, and if it seems okay I might flog it to my family, then it's not a problem to pay them back if it does k.o.
Games.. I figure I'll have more games that look good than I'll be able to buy, so I'd probably wait for most things to reach GC as I prefer the controller.
Light gun games sound good though.
I figure financing 2 consoles should be okay as I don't have to actually buy more games (well, hopefully not many more...), and I don't have to pay for the console. Hopefully I'll get just as many games, but only the ones I really really want, instead of just the ones I really want...
LIGHT GUN GAMES :^)
Platformers, you will be used to the likes of Ratchet & Clank, but try Ico for a soul-pleasing change. You'll either be bored stiff, or you will have one of the most soul-touching experiences ever.
You could get Final Fantasy and Pro Evolution Soccer, I know you are getting versions of both, but why wait?
Also, racing games, like Gran Turismo, are much more well featured on PS2.
As are beat em ups.
As are football management games.
And finally, games with pure thrills offered, like Time Crisis 2 and a Psone copy of Bishi Bashi might tickle your fancy.

What sort, how much?
Anyone want to buy a dvd player?
I'd get it. And flog it.
You'd get at least £100 if its sealed and unopened.
Rah
