Hmmmm.
The last few stories have been... well, utter disasters. This is usually to do with something I've done. :0D
Sorry.
I really hope the next one we do will be a bit more popular... but it's pointless starting it unless we at least find out why people aren't writing.
Is it building up too quickly, too much to read? That could be sorted to limiting the posting... I suppose...
Not enough time?
Or, as I suspect, crap plots? :0D
Yeah, sorry once again about that. Getting up my own arss trying to keep the story as one long story... and forgetting that's it much more fun just to write a story. Limitations, you see. That's why it was so much fun the first stories, and crap now. My fault again, sorry. :0)
*cough*... err... not really getting anywhere with this.
Who wants to start the next story? I sure as hell don't. :0)
Remember Safety conscious Neville?
Then it kind of went off on a time travel thing, and got confusing.
I's like to see a Lost in Space (TV show) type thing. That could be good.
Got carried away...dammit. When should I have stopped?
The last few stories have been to "It's all set in Snipers mind, which is actually a megadrive csrtridge. Oh no, he's really asleep, or is it all real anyway?" Type thing.
Too confusing, had to keep re-reading it and, frankly, couldn't be bothered, so I gave up.
I think before the next story is started, there should be a different thread. This one will just have the outlines of the story, who's a good guy, who's a bad guy, and the ultimate aim of the group, like kill the evil king, or retrieve some amulet or whatever.
The writers can then follow that basic guideline, and still have little subplots/missions on the way. I know Grix doesn't want too much set in stone, as the writer doesn't have the freedom, but to much freedom can be just as bad...
I'd go along with a kind of tongue-in-cheek fantasy type thing, maybe along the lines on the Discworld?
Anyway, count me in.
:-(
OF course they were my only four.
Yeah, middle earth stuff is in at the moment, but it should definately NOT be straight faced.
You and Pb should fight to the death to start the next story.
Well, maybe not death.
Just talk to each other then.
Seriously though, I think if we collect all the characters, and write in an objective (save princess / stop bad-guy / rescue race of people) we can fill the middle in well without straying too much... it'd still be flexible, but the long term objectives for the character would gently veer writes in the right direction.
