Yea, I actually made a topic about that exact thing last week. I think it may be a good idea to change it to something else, still keeping it simple though.

I received it in the post this morning, and I'm really pleased with it. You could call it an RPG - it's in the same vein as games such as Morrowind and Fable, but it's got its own, unique feel to it. It also uses the GameCube's internal clock - so it's all in real time, and events such as Christmas and your birthday will happen in the game too.
What I enjoyed though, was the fantastically well thought out gameplay. Basically, you start off, and move to a town (you name it, along with your character). From there, you must work for a man called Tom Nook, to pay off the mortgage on your home. You can furnish this house with a whole range of this, from wardrobes to keep your various clothes in - to NES consoles, to play classics on that you find along the way.
After that's done - it's all a completely free, fun and non-linear affair, in which everything you do affects the world around you. You can run errands for, write letters to or just chat (among other things) to the characters that inhabit the game world. Establishing relationships and maintaining friendships with people is vital for a good life - you can even make enemies too.
And on top of that, there's so much more to do in the game it's overwhelming. At the end of the day, this is a highly fun and addictive game that unfortunately won't be coming to Europe. Grab an Action Replay/Freeloader and import this from somewhere. It's worth it.

Mario Sunshine is probably the best, though I reckon all of my nine GameCube games are essentials.

Super Mario Sunshine's the best platform game I've ever played - I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Just a note - it does start painstakingly slow, and you'll have to do the same thing about three times, but after that it's absolutely fantastic gaming.

I also have it, it came today. Animal Crossing is one of the best games ever, i also an afraid of it getting a bit boring, but i'm sure it'll be alright.

Yeah, and I'm luck enough to own the US version of it.
:-)
Very good stuff - get a Freeloader/Action Replay just for it, and you'll be in heaven. I've heard that it can get tedious after a few weeks, but I've had it for 3 weeks now, and I still love it.
So, yeah, get it, if you can. Excellent stuff.
