When/if i do eventually hook me little 'cube up to the net, will i get serious lag with a 56k modem? I'm expecting a little bit, but if the lag problem is too big, i think i'll give this whole "internet gaming" thing a miss. Any help would go down well, i may even give you a half eaten bit of chocolate, but don't quote me on that.

Hrm, I also thought about this. But I dont think its really worth it on a 56kb. I dont know, unless somebody can prove me wrong.. but I think they're always be people with BB 0wning people on 56kb.

it wont lag with bb as much as a 56k though
I'am surprised that Nintendo released a Modem Adaptor. Lag can happen with a Broadband connection. Another problem is servers. When more and more people use online gaming, there is the threat of more lag.

In answer to the original question, you will get a lag of at least 0.3 seconds. The effect of this will differ depending on the game type - most games will be unplayably lagged (and will probably refuse your connection attempt), while a few may not suffer at all.
