I want a multi-region DVD player in my room.

I have a region 2 Toshiba one and that's the one that I watch all my DVDs on.

I haven't even looked at the DVD player on my PS2 but now that I want Region 1 DVDs, I'm wondering whether I should get the DVD Region X.

The only problem is, I've read that you need a blank memory card.

BLANK!?!?

This can't be right since a memory card costs 25 quid!

If it's wrong, how much space do you actually need on a memory card?

Sony do hypnotise people to buy there products otherwise they would lose their annual £300 billion profit margin every year.

It isn't so bad considering a DVD region X is £20 and the action replay comes with that and cheats aswell. Still, Sony have to make their money some how and consumers are willing to spend those amounts.

30 quid!!!!

I can't believe the prices these people get away with.

30 quid for a memory card! 30 quid for a multi-tap! 30 quid for an Action Replay!

It really is ridiculous!

On a next generation console you really shouldn't need to pay 30 quid just to play 4 player games!

If you get an Action Replay (version 2) it comes with the DVD Region X already on it. This is the best option as it also has loads of cheats - if thats your thing.
