Meh, I wouldn't really care if my Notable status got taken away. I haven't done anything special since becoming a Notable, my writing style hasn't changed, I don't feel the pressure to make better posts more often, I usually only post a decent topic once every two months.
All I see the Notable status as is just a Pontest but for a gold name. And it's nice to be one, it shows that you're respected because you were voted for (Well, not in my case) But anyway.
Oh and no, No notables should have their status taken away. For reasons that I can't justify.
