Im starting off by saying: Zelda is an RPG and it is also an Adventure/Action game.

Excellent psychoanalysis there. You appear to have interpreted my actions and attributed causes to them with a fantastically high rate of accuracy.
If only I were as clever as you.

I suppose that is true, but...
Role Playing means you play the role of a character and you take them around a made up world and do battle against evil in the search to stop the end of the world. In most cases this wouldn't be said for Pokemon, but it is said for the 2 new games that are coming out. In Pokemon Sapphire and Ruby you have to stop Team Magma and Aqua from gaining acess to the 2 legendary pokemon of this game to stop them from using them to take over the world.

Personally I dont consider Zelda to an RPG.
In my opinion an RPG is something where you develop the character ie build up their stats eg Final Fantasy, Pokemon etc.
The closest Zelda games come to character development is by aquiring more weapons/equipment - but you do that in Metroid and that is no RPG.
