IMHO:

Gamecube is the 1st party option. XBOX is the online gaming and FPS option.

Not to bright are you?

It's actually an official promotion running until March 20th, buy a GC, get a free game.

Oh, I suppose you ignorant little cretins forgot to read this part, or did your mummies get bored of reading it for you?

"This seems like a very silly move on the part of Dixons. It is true that GameCube had a poor showing over the Christmas period, but it still has a top notch range of games, including Mario Sunshine, Super Monkey Ball, Rogue Leader, Eternal Darkness, and Resident Evil, to name but a few. It then gets better: over the next year we are going to see the new Resident Evil, Metroid Prime, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Phantasy Star, Mario Kart, and F-Zero. No other console has this range of Triple-A titles in development.

Hopefully other, more games-centric companies such as the GAME group and GameStation will not see this as a blow at all, but an opportunity to increase sales. Nintendo should also see this as a wake-up call to start backing the system in the PAL territories.

With the above games line-up it could be an excellent year for the system. Xbox has had a large blow with Halo 2 being put back to next year, and PS2 cannot produce the same range of Triple-A games.

PS2 does rule the roost in all territories and has a lead no one can catch. Second place is still up for grabs, however, and GameCube does have the better games. Nintendo just needs to push it in Europe!"

Like the poster of the original topic did?

Yes, he may have worded it wrongly, but he has a point - or me, the PS2 has one appealing game - GTA3.

The GC has many.

Yes, he shouldn't have put it in, but he doe have a point which you cannot deny.
