Well one way might be to say something that I'm about to say...

I'm thinking of picking up a GC as soon as tomorrow.
A couple that haven't stopped breathing might now be thinking "why the change of heart ?"

The most obvious reason is that I have flu right now so chances are its the words of a sick bloke ranting.

The other is that I've been laying in bed thinking back to games I played such as Metroid and Zelda and how there are times I'd like to play them again (but of course in they're new forms). Afterall, at the end of the day I am a gamer, not a fanboy and I've grown up with Nintendo games.

I might also look into a Gameboy Advance SP towards the end of the month with some of the classic Snes games that are out or coming out.

If I get a GC, this is what I'm thinking of grabbing...
Black GC
Extra controller (black of course)
Resident Evil
Resident Evil Zero
Mario Sunshine
Advanced scart lead (for best pic and sound quality)

Then of course I'll pick up Metroid Prime and Zelda as they come out. Don't need a memory card as I have the one from when I had the GC before. Anyway, thats the current thing going through my head.
Blame my credit card taunting me while I'm ill for this happening.
Right, well I'm off to ponder more on this and decide on how I'm going to pay for it all if I decide to go shopping tomorrow.

My friend picked up a cube today, with Pikmin for £80. At least that's what he told me.

I wouldn't watch 30 minutes of Metroid footage and 30 minutes of Zelda footage anyone.

Spoils it too much, I like not knowing what to expect.

Well I'm in the basement area of Resi 0 now. Just killed a couple of Hunters.

I went into town today and picked up a couple of Nintendo mags to have a read through. I grabbed NOM and NGC. Was quite chuffed to see that NGC had a DVD with some footage of Prime and Zelda to watch - including the OOT game that comes with the new Zelda.
Wasn't so chuffed though when I got home and found that the DVD didn't work ! Ugh ! Cheap crappy disk !
My recent X-Box Gamer DVD wasn't much good either - at least it let me watch the footage though.

Was well gutted - was looking forward to watching some footage. :-(
Guess I'll just read through the mag tonight a bit now.

Oh well, back to Resi 0. Wanna try and get some stuff done on my new games before I pick up Prime next weekend.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, I think I just came accross an "emergency exit" thing. Do I detect another one of those Resi "you have 2 minutes to do this, that and get out the door before everything goes up like a bomb with you in it !.....Oh look a big boss is waiting for you at the door.."

Resi Evil 0's a lot bigger than it first seems.

'great songs' ? Ugh, some people just NEED to be killed...

Anyway, I've unlocked monkey baseball this morning. Kind of annoying but will probably be better when being played in multiplayer rather than against the CPU.

Started my game on Resident Evil Zero now and I'm in the house just after the train. Had to introduce a big scorpion to old betty the shotgun. ;-p

From what I read somewhere, its possible to complete Resi Zero in just over 3 hours (to unlock something). Might even have the game beaten by the end of the day so I'll be ready to move onto Resident Evil. :-)

Other than that its unlocking monkeyball mini games and maybe look to unlocking another monster in Godzilla.

I must get it - just for the great songs.
