Yep, I downloaded it yesterday, as I've been doing a lot of downloading recently. I was mainly attracted by the resume downloads function, as I don't believe that any programme can increase your net speed - I was right with this one.
"I've found it to be the single most infuriating piece of software I've had the misfortune to use."
I haven't found it too infuriating, but then it's Christmas, so I'm a lot more laid back than usual!

Inability to load a web pag in less than five miniutes
Inability to play any sort of online game whatsoever
Painfully lagged out chatroom response times
5000% slower email send/recieve times."
I can load pages in 1 or 2 minutes with this thing, and it's getting annoying. I'm even going to bother trying to play any sort of online game with DAP running and my crappy 56k modem.

I'm considering composing an honest expression of my opinion of said software, and sending it to their customer feedback department. Without swearing."
I can use the net, but it is soul-destoryingly slow. I'm not as angry as you are, but it is getting annoying. 2-3 mintues to post a message!? What's wrong with this world? Normally, it's 30 seconds at most.

And if anyone is wondering, the background music to this is the Propellerheads version of On Her Majesty's Secret Service... the original plan was to put Star Wars music over the background, but then I realised that the more I do, the less Star Warsy it becomes... and the story wasn't exactly Star Warsy to begin with.
