HI,

I bought a logic 3 scart lead for the ps2, i pluged it in set everything up and started up me ps2, but i couldnt really notice any difference between this lead and the one that came with the ps2....i'm 90% sure that the lead that i bought is an RGB lead...but it doesnt say anything on the box that it came in about it being a RGB scart...it has got the full 21 pins...i'm just wondering whether my tv doesnt support scart...how can i test it?? i've got no dvd's, so i cant test the 'green screen' thing... the only cd that i have got that i 'think' is a dvd is the one that was free with PlayNation, some Manga thing, i've played that and no green screen appeared....so i'm thinkin that 1. The lead isnt RGB or 2. my tv doesnt support RGB......HELP!

The DVDs you get on the ps magazine ARE DVD's but use a differnt layering technique for the GUI, so therefore even if they played perfect (as they are designed for PS2) you may still go out and but a DVD film and find you get a green screen. Another little tweak to this problem is to get sonys new controller or the CD off yer m8 as it loads 2.1 drivers that get rid of some of the annoying things. Hope this helps

How big is the TV you are using? I have a 28inch so when I went from the normal lead to the RGB lead I noticed a difference. I have the Blaze lead which also has the switch to turn it back to the orginal output, so I can use the same lead to play DVD's with out green screen but at the normal quality associated with the normal lead.

I have used my PS2 on a 20 or 21 inch when it was being fixed and the picture looked better on that with the normal lead than on my 28inch. My friend uses a 14inch and that has good quality from the normal lead.

DVD's will show up in a green picture if it is a true RGB lead. Just go out and rent a DVD movie or buy the PSW or PSM2 magazines, as they come with free DVD's.

Mes still confused.....i tried my Dreamcast - with scart lead in my tv, and i tried Ready2Rumble..the 60hz option only works with a rgb scart and a tv that supports it, and this works....
Is the Manga cd thats with PlayNation a proper DVD?
Should it be in green if i use a rgb scart?
Help!!!
How can i test to see if its an RGB lead???
Or my tv takes RGB??
