I bought a logic 3 scart lead for the ps2, i pluged it in set everything up and started up me ps2, but i couldnt really notice any difference between this lead and the one that came with the ps2....i'm 90% sure that the lead that i bought is an RGB lead...but it doesnt say anything on the box that it came in about it being a RGB scart...it has got the full 21 pins...i'm just wondering whether my tv doesnt support scart...how can i test it?? i've got no dvd's, so i cant test the 'green screen' thing... the only cd that i have got that i 'think' is a dvd is the one that was free with PlayNation, some Manga thing, i've played that and no green screen appeared....so i'm thinkin that 1. The lead isnt RGB or 2. my tv doesnt support RGB......HELP!
Question before i do, cause i need make sure me tv takes RGB.......(i know this is the wrong place to ask this, but never mind) With the 60hz option on some Dreamcast games, to get it to work do you have to have a RGB scart + a tv that takes RGB?? because i've tried the 60hz option with a scart and this works... does this mean me tv takes RGB??
Thanks for your help people

What it actually means is its got a switch. It doesnt use the RGB for DVD's. Where you plug in the lead in the back of the PS2, it has a switch. DVD and GAME. DVD is composite output just like the normal lead you get with the PS2 and then GAME is RGB. Of course if you have region-x or the Action Replay 2 V2 you can use GAME mode to watch DVD without the green screen. If you use GAME mode for DVD's without using region-x or the Action Replay 2 V2 then DVD's are green.
The lead is true RGB but gives the user the option to play DVD's in colour on the same lead by switching a switch instead of swapping leads. Well worth the money the one I got for £12.99 from SR is a Blaze scart lead with gold connectors, it also has the 2 phonos to connect to a Hi-Fi aswell as built in G-con 2 socket.
Hid Rock if its a blue scart lead with a lead winder its the same as SR sell here.
Mattc RGB is alot better than the composite that you get on the normal lead. Its a noticable change, I would buy the RGB lead SR sell here as its great.
So its either 1. my tv is utter toss (it aint old tho its in Argos, page #573, number 11) or 2. the lead aint RGB

You'll be able to use the SCART for games and the S-Video for DVD's, yes - though you'll have to switch between your WEGA's inputs, so that the input selected is the box with the arrow pointing into it from the left, with an S to the right of the box.
