I chose this game as my GAD not long ago and it arrived Tuesday mornin', me thinks. I had played the demo before hand, which is why it was I chose it - platforming adventure games like this are my cup o' tea, you see - and Jak & Daxter doesn't fall short in the slightest.
Anyway, as I said, it arrived Tuesday morning and naturally, I played it to the death as soon as I laid my grubby mits on it. Playing it to the death is exactly what I shouldn't of done, I think, mainly because by that night I had managed to work my way through 70% of the game. Yes -70% in one day! Although, playing it to the death means: around 12 hours worth...NON STOP. No tea, lunch - anything. :D
So, there I was that night, in bed wondering when I'd complete it when I began to get a bit irritated by something. I was beginning to get irritated by the fact that I may have rushed through it and played it too much to get the most out of it. I was asking myself whether I should of saved it a little, just to appreciate it that little bit more.
Anywho, real reason as to why I have written this post is about to be explained. Of all you lot on this wonderful site who have purchased Jak & Daxter - how far are you? Did you find it too easy, like me? Or are you enjoying it thoroughly? Just tell me, maybe you'll be able to help me.
Now, although I may be 99% into the game at this very moment after having it for just three days, it doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it - oh no, I thought it was wonderful...just, it went too quick. It's a shame, because if it was that little bit longer, then it'd be up to Zelda's standards.
Anyway, the other reason I wanted to post this message is for help. Now that I have EVERY SINGLE POWER CELL in the game, all I need to get (to see what exactly is behind the huge Precursor Door in the final cutscene before the credits) is EVERY SINGLE TINY PRECURSOR ORB. You see, even on 99% you can't see the hidden thing yet - all the cutscene shows you is Jak, Daxter, Keira and Samos staring into a mass of glowing white light and saying things like: "What is that?!" and then the credits come up! Aargh. And so I have begun my quest to adventure back into all the previous lands to recover every single Precursor Orb hidden there. I have about 25 left until, I predict, I can see what the characters are staring at...
But the thing I need help on is The Forbidden Forest - WHERE ARE THE LAST 5 PRECURSOR ORBS, EH? Any of you that have actually discovered every single one - could you tell me where the most hidden ones were? PLEASE?
Cheers, SHOCKY
