My twelfth is in phantom and spectre and haste
My whole stalks the night in a quiet dreamlike state
With no memories the next day of being out late

A teenager has a completely empty room. He has no window and no door, he just has an enterance. All there is in the room is a big ceilling fan. He decides to hang himself to end his life one day, but he is too short to reach the fan even by jumping or even by throwing the noose up. He needed a way to get up. 7 hours later his mum walks into the room and the boy is hung by the noose connected to the fan and all that is below him is a puddle of water. How did he get up there?
