The summer games drought is ending. driver SF is released today and the biggest games of the year are only a few weeks away.

With Gear of War 3, Uncharted 3, Battlefield 3, COD, Resistence 3 and many others on the way, will you be trying to get them all, none or somewhere in between?

Which one are you most looking forward to and why?

I'm giving The first Assassins Creed another chance as I only played a bit the first time around.

After a good few hours with it I'm liking it more than before and it still looks impressive.

I'll go back to AC2 after that and then Brotherhood, which I haven't played at all yet.

Assassin's Creed Revelations!

I want to get AC:R because of how hooked I am with the story, and because of the certain way Brotherhood ended. I was spectacle of the series to begin with, especially with my reaction to the first one. However AC2 really took things up a notch, so I'm very interested in where the story goes next.

Call of Duty doesn't even come into the equation for me anymore. Battlefield has seriously upped the game, and if Treyarch and Infinity Ward believe they can release the same game with different skins each year, well they'll get away with it, because most gamers are sheep who aren't willing to try something new. Very narrow minded gamers who buy the same rubbish every year. Of course, some would say I'm guilty of this buying FIFA every year, but sadly, the other alternative is Pro Evolution Soccer, which has definitely improved, I really enjoyed the demo, but FIFA just has the edge still. I just hope EA remember to test the game for once and don't release a bug-ridden mess. I shall await the demo before I cast my verdict.

Already played the NHL 12 demo, definitely one of the best improving games around, it's completely different every year and offers so much more every time. It's hard to think it's the same company who make FIFA...

I too should be getting Battlefield 3 and leaving MW3 for a while.

I'm also looking forward to the ICO and Shadow of the Colossus collection, which should ease the pain of a long wait for Last Guardian.

BF3 ... already pre-ordered ... following particpation in the Alpha MP session, as for MW3, not too sure at the moment.
