Figures that support your theory on consoles being more popular than PC gaming.

hopefully we could buy second hand consoles, and games. charges would be a few pounds an hour, we would mainly only have the online games, and the most popular titles, also, people would be free to bring their own games.
it would be expensive to set up, but it wouldnt be on a highsteet probably somewhere out of town, but stilla cessible, thats got to sorted yet,
i guess we could say people need to bring their won consoles but what would be the point?
Setup costs of the centre would be incredible, how many consoles would you imagine having there? Your talking about having it setup in Uni, sheesh there's alot of slackers with time to burn there so that would be potentially huge.
Plus you'd need all the different console, decent sized TV's, plus innumerable copies of the different games.
How much would you envisage charging each person to play, you've already said that playing at LAN parties costs in excess of £30 and thats for a weekend and thats with everyone turning up with their own equipment and copies of the games.
I can't even think how setting up a centre like this would be financially viable although it sounds like a good idea. High Street wise, you it just wouldn't be viable either, the space you'd need would incur some huge rent fees as well.

Console gaming is bigger than pc gaming, what???
> b)console gaming is bigger than pc gaming
eh?
a) if people are willing to lugg their pc around the place to play in a social environment against other popel then why wouldnt they be willing to do the same in a console based environment, where the console and games owuld already be suppied?
b)console gaming is bigger than pc gaming, so surely the demad would be there
