Anyways I was wondering if you could help me, everytime I come on the internet it will for no particular reason disconnect at any given time (this happens during the day) it's really anoyying as it always happens.

It didn't really bother me too much before but I've started to play games online and it disconnects mid fight and it's really bothering me know. I was wondering if you knew anything I could do about it.

My connection is BtAnytime, I would phone them up but it didn't used to happen and I was wondering if any of you could help before I ring Bt and they send me around in circles making tons of phone calls.

It started happening after I changed from BtSurftime to BtAnytime if that's any help.

Any advice is muchly appriciated.

Thanks SL

Ah, but YH, there's been documented proof that this goes on.

COuld it be that they are deliberately giving you a rubbish connection so that you'll think "sod this, I'm getting cable" and then they can charge you extortionate rates for that?

I'm not saying it's true, of course. Just a stupid conspiracy theory type thing!

Time it, I betcha it's 2 hours. Otherwise, get them on the blower, tell 'em what's up and get them to turn your line volume up a notch or two.

To be honest it's a BT problem, and it's one that I expect they are aware of. Even though it is Anytime, BT don't like you taking up a connection for too long as it can cause others to be unable to connect, again BT's fault as they should have enough connections for each user they have, but I don't think they do, or wil do ... ever.

Ring them and see if they can do anything to help you, but I wouldn't hold your breath, or you'll die.
