Anyways I was wondering if you could help me, everytime I come on the internet it will for no particular reason disconnect at any given time (this happens during the day) it's really anoyying as it always happens.

It didn't really bother me too much before but I've started to play games online and it disconnects mid fight and it's really bothering me know. I was wondering if you knew anything I could do about it.

My connection is BtAnytime, I would phone them up but it didn't used to happen and I was wondering if any of you could help before I ring Bt and they send me around in circles making tons of phone calls.

It started happening after I changed from BtSurftime to BtAnytime if that's any help.

Any advice is muchly appriciated.

Thanks SL

Heard the latest? Their getting fined by the Advertising Standards Commsion (or someone..) for being called Anytime when you can only get on sometimes!!

/me rolls around the floor

So soon they'll be relaunching as "BT Internet Sometimes, depends on how much you use it, if we can be bothered."

That is your problem. BT Anytime has been on Watchdog more times then I can count. I'd suggest switching to a better isp pronto.

08whatever.com is a great for guiding you to what you need.

If it's not helpful I'd suggest signing up for Claranet which I what I get

My advice - get AOL!
Connect first time almost every time and cut-offs are VERY rare.

Mine is really annoying. It randomly kills data connections for no apparent reason... very annoying. Ask luke.

Anyway...

FS's servers are overloaded and they might be going under soon. I wouldn't, if I were you.

I use BTInternet and it is frustrating up to the point were I am trying to talk my dad into cable urgently. Its terrible, not just dropped connections, but having to dial up 4 or 5 times before you get a connection, and then having incredibly slow speeds is so annoying its unbelievable.

I will (hopefully) be getting broadband, but it wont be through BT, whatever offers they'll give me..

But who's really gonna pay BT an Extra £30 or so a month just to stop having to re-connect again. I know Cable is a lot faster, but it's not the most affordable thing for some.
