"Sum 41 vs. Blink 182"

Firstly they sound exactly the same. Same type of Rock. Both have comic songs (blink's are funnier). A difference is that Sum are canadian, blink are american. Blink have been around longer. They both have songs were they mention not acting their age. And check this:

Sum 41: A one syllable word followed by a number
Blink 182: (See sentence above)


I think that Sum 41 have copied blink, but i still think they are wkd and i cant get Fat Lip outta my head.

I have many beastie boys album but I've not listened to them for a while... Just hate to see a good band being slated by someone who likes... I dare not defile this post with their names.

At the moment I am listening to some Mexican bands, Cafe Tacuba and Nacha, through the wonderous soundtrack to Amores Perros.

My favourite beasties song is probably "Alive" or "Fight for your Right"... So many to choose from though, that is by no means a definitive and intransient choice.

Look, Jericho I can understand this. YOu hear Blink 182 and, you know, the first letter.. it's the same as Beastie Boys and you think that the awful rubbish coming from your speakers is the Beastie Boys.

I have NOT got them mixed up. Blink 182 and Sum 41 ARE better than the Beastie Boys and thats all I got to say about that.

allardini my good man the beasties haven't disappeared it's a well known fact there's gaps inbetween each beasties album of 2,3 maybe 4 years. expect their next album to be out next year and from what i hear the working title is "still ill". the day that album comes out the better to show all those crap bands like Sum 41 just how to do it. and if you do copy someones style you at least have the decency to acknowledge them for it where's the acknowledgement in fat lip of them ripping off the beasties? and ripping them off very poorly at that too
