I was walking through town, I could afford it, a shop which I shall refrain from naming had some in stock at the stupidly cheap price, and nobody would have a go at me for buying one.

Then I realised I'd never play on it and that I didn't actually want one that much.

Shame.

Then go back and check. I don't blame you for not believing me - I wouldn't believe me if the tables were turned. But you can go back and check. I suppose I could have missed a post of mine out - after all that topic is 28 pages long. Well, I did it anyway, for what it's worth.

I bought one; and being in the same social class as me has to be a good thing.

Seeing as you made the effort I thought I'd do the same. You could be telling a lie, but what the hell. However, it did prove to be hard as there were many Sunshine topics. I copied all most posts from a thread called "How many shines you got - THREAD" or something like that, by Foreman. It isn't a particularly good example, but I clearly don't say it's crap. See for yourself:

----------------------------

11 or 12, can't remember.

I think I've got 24 now. I'm on Sirena Beach episode 8, the one with the red coins in the hotel. I really think they've overdone this area now, I was bored of it after 2 levels, let alone 8, and there's probably many more to come.

Forty something shines. I've done all the Noki Bay levels and I'm doing Pianta Village right now. Episode 5 I think.

I think I have 46 shines so far. Just realised that there are loads of levels I haven't done - for some reason I thought there were no more levels on certain areas and have only done half of them!

I think I have 54 shines now......but it's annoying me so much that I'm going to try and send it back. I can't stand the way the camera requires constant adjustment and the way things just don't work the way they should (i.e. sometimes the hover nozzle of FLUDD doesn't work and you simply fall to the ground, or it won't let you get past a certain bit that it should allow you to). But if you lot don't mind these things play on!

67 shines at the mo, with 29 blue coins. I just can't do teh ferris wheel level of Pinna Park, due to all the stupid frustrating things going on in the game - like having to move the camera constantly.

The sand bird level was hard as well, but I managed to do it in the end.

I also got Yoshi over to the island where the man is cooking something, only to find the most stupid and annoying mini game ever. And you have to take Yoshi over there every time you want a go at it. GRRR!

I did the last boss the other day. The corona mountain bit was terrible. If the boat touches the side, no matter what teh speed, it completely spazzes up and disappears. A touch of realism wouldn't have gone a miss there.

I have seventy odd shines......dunno where all the rest are. They must be mostly secret ones, because I have a lot of blue coins already.

-----------------

There you go. I might scan more topics.

While Prime is mainly adventure based, when you do get into the action it is intense. Some of the bosses are amazing.

Also, don't think Mario Sunshine is great, I was quite disappointed with it, even if it is quite fun.

The point was you wanted people to try to convince you to get a GameCube without showing long lists of games.

I believe I'm the only person to have bothered so far :)

Can I have a Mars Bar?

That isn't the point.

Not that I can remember what the actual point was now.
