Why was it that you went for a PS2 instead of another console.

I had a PS one before I got a PS2 and the reason I got it was on July 2000(in the school summer holidays) for some reason I decided to get that month's official playstation magazine and as I was reading there was so much info on Playstation 2 in Japan and the launch date in the UK and also very much info on the games that were out and also coming soon.

I was so amazed with that info and could'nt wait to get my hands one on, so on September 7th I decided to pre-order my console from dixons as PSM2 said that there was a rumour that they had the most consoles than any other store com launch day.

Since I couldn't wait to get my hands on a PS2 I was very dissapointed when the launch day slipped to November 24th but I still waited for it.

Once I got it on launch day, like many other people the first games I played on it was Tekken Tag Tournament. I also dont regret getting it at launch as I got to play it long before those who are getting it for £199.99.

i had a PS so i wanted one and it was the best anyway

I had £350 from a very confusing Story so i bought a PS2 and lvoed it ever since

I got mine because the games are good. There is no other reason, and there doesnt need to be.

i had a psone, i gave it to my nephew when i got my ps2.

i didnt get the ps2 at the start cuase the games didnt grab me enough to part wiv over 300 quid.

but soon enough games stated to apear that did make me want one but i was stil unsure about the price - then, GRAN TURISMO 3 came out, i played it on my mates ps2 and i that was it, i left his house straight into town and i got me one :) and i have been happy ever since, not a grey cloud in the sky :D

Yes the fact that the Playstation was so successful really persuaded me to buy the PS2. I read so much about the PS2 in magazines (I remember when the console was announced and when noone had a clue what it would look like). The games were the main factor I guess but the fact that it was made by Sony and that I trusted them did it for me. Oh and the fact that no other console would be out for another 2 years

Why did i get my PS2?

The main reason probably was the fact that i had owned a PS1 and really likes the games, so the fact that PS2 would have the same type of games really enticed me. Also it would play my games that i had bought for the PS1 which meant it could use all my games that i have had so far.

The DVD was great too, meaning it brought me to the DVD world.

I bought it really because i just like Playstation.
