I am waiting for the Gamecube to be released in the UK in march (hopefully!). I have pre-ordered my GC from Special Reserve, who I think are fantastic!
I have heard a few stories of people in the US being disappointed on the day of release beacuse they couldn't get their hand on a memory card!
I have considered buying a US GC controller and Memory card in advance for my UK gamecube when it is released. The only thing holding me back is the question whether or not they will be compatable.
Is there anyone here who is going to import US accessories for their UK gamecube?
Do you think I would be stupid to spend money on a US Gamecube Controller and Memory card now for my UK console, when it is released?
Cheers

p.s. I'm not slaging off Sony, but I think they are starting to get a bit worried because they have already started the production of the PS3
If you did wait, you could probably pre-order from SR when they allow you to, but it might not be much cheaper. (buying a PS2 controller and mem card would probably be around £45, so the GC will most likely be around that price so you wouldn't save any money by waiting)
That is a total of 45 smackers including P&P.
Do you think that is a good deal or can someone find it cheaper?
I would buy them from special Reserve if they started to do the pre-ordering for games and accessories now!
When do you think they will start listing the games and accessories for the GC in the mag?
Cheers

Do they ever learn ??????
