In the Phazon Mines, having got the delectble power bombs.

Exactly, the rest of them (Excluding Hive Mecha) are fought at some other point, for example, Sheegoth's appear everywhere after you beat the first one, and the plated beetle appears quite often, as does the Chozo Ghost.
How does everyone pronounce that, I've always said Cho - zo, but, could it be Co-zo (Which sounds retarded)

Look, these are the bosses.

Why are these the bosses? Because they're the only enemies to have the BOSS HEALTH METER appear at the top of the screen.

This game is just superb. The graphical detail defies belief. Some of the ball bits are just so good looking.

And the landscapes...

and the creature detail...

and the atmosphere...

and the... oh ungggrrh
