Why the bloody hell not?
Can't we all just get along?
Xbox sucks.
GC sucks.
I'm not sure if the PS2 has a fan so I'm not sure if it sucks.
Ah, they both blow too...

Crappy? Immature? I said what I needed to say and stopped, saving you the hassle of a long boring post. But since you asked..
The PS2 has better games because it's been out longer. You'd expect it to. In terms of exclusives, any decent game the Xbox has, the PS2 can match it with two or three of equal quality. That's not opinion, it's a fact. Something of equal truth however, and in the Xbox's defense, is that the PS2 has an extremely disappointing 2003 line-up, while the Xbox's is really rather strong. Because of this, I'll soon own all three consoles.
Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance may support Dolby 5.1 on the Xbox, and be out earlier, but that's it. As some of the graphical effects were originally coded for PS2, you'll experience slowdown on the Xbox version. In addition to this, the PS2 has some exclusive features such as the skateboarding mini-game. That's why the PS2 version is better.
The Xbox has a crap back-catalogue because there's only one must-have game, one or two pretty good ones and the rest being below that. Much less than can be said for it's two competitors.
