My first season was closer.
Came second being beaten by two goals in goal difference. Same points.
But I had to start the game over. Doing better this time round though.

MUCH MORE advanced training system
ability to pull players out of international friendies
ability to praise/critisise your players
improved game tactics (choose type of corner to be used most, throw in takers, choose to play through the middle-down the wings-or down a particular wing)
improved player instructions
Extra little bits...
title odds at start of season
match odds for each game
new stats for players (eg penalty taking,long throws)
extra options for transfers (such as first option and enquiry)
Ability to offer your players to certain clubs at your price.
er, thats all i can think of for now.
Oh, and i'd never go back. Already unistalled CM 01/02.
Some people have gone back to cm 01/02 becasue of the game being a little more advanced (complaining about too much stuff to do) but the same sort of thing happened when CM3 was first released.

Yes, so do I. Some class action, see Nachional (think that's how they spell it) vs. Santos? 4-4 first leg, crap keepers and all that. Great game though...lots of fights and dives.
