Any got any dual shock controllers with the analoge thumbs that spin around? Its annoying, is there a way to get the thumb pad off the stick and then be able to stick it back down with super glue? Or maybe phone Sony and blag another one. So whos in a spin about dual shock controllers?

I had the same problem mate, i rang Sony up and they sent me a new pad. Make sure you tell them that it was bought within the last year though, or they wont send you a new one. They were very good over it, asked for no bill and even let me keep the pad.

I've had my PS2 since launch da, so its over 1 year old. I had GT3 on launch day,and thats when I noticed it. Oh and another problem with it, is the right analogue stick spins a few degrees. Not the thumb pad but the actual stick. So I reakon i'll give Sony a ring tommorow.

Will I have to send my old controller back?

I have a controller tht when you push the right stick forward it clicks, so I rang sony and got through pretty quick and I had a second controller a week later (FOC).

They will ask you for the serial number of you console and when you bought it.

I think I must be one of the only people that, by default, uses the D-pad instead of the stick - with the exception of games like Half-Life and Red-Faction..... and punching people on SSX Tricky that is!

Does anyone else find the stick(s) a little too fiddly for normal games like Pro Evo, or THPS3? Also, is me not using the stick holding me back from getting top scores do you think?!

I know Pro Evo had one which he sent back with his faulty PS2. Did he have another one that he sent back?
