So Mario Kart aint online? Good. If I can play offline with reasonably intelligent bots then its better than some annoying idiot who types dumb messages to you while you're vainly trying to play with heavy lag and you're only playing as you forked out a huge amount to play online. Morons.
I am just laughing at the poor fools who have bought a modem expecting loads of AAA titles from Nintendo to have online support. hohoho. Keep shoddy PSO and any dull 3rd party squat that has some cheesy online features.
When Nintendo wants to it will go online. It is not stopping itself from going online.. it has the networks, the modems.. It seems its the only company to realise: that online may be the future, according to some.. but the future is not now.

Ho Ho.
Irony makes me smile
It all sounds good on paper but when you actually get to play the games you find out the servers are full of fat Americans, shoving their faces full of Dorito's and calling you Noob and other gay terms that only social lepers use.
Anyone who's new to the games stands no chance against these pasty faced, gaming nerds.
Though I gotta say, Mario Kart online would be hella good.
Man, if Nintendo announced they were online tomorrow, you'd start singing their praises.
Muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh

Unless of course, you buy the Powerboard.
Thank god for ninty ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
And I said all along that it was rubbish.
PSO was the only decent online game, and that got ruined by fools.
The problem with online gaming is that youcan't rely on other people to play properly.
Although the whole "n00b killah" shouting abuse at you is pretty redundant, as the difficulty of typing with a joypad reduces chances of gamers sending messages to each other.
While it's a new experience now and, for some, it seems to make gaming seem much more unique, in no time it'll feel all the same and sales will go down, followed by Online Gaming itself. Although it's not the future, these next few years, it'll be un-avoidable. I say have a go while it's here, but don't go mad over it, because you'll most likely be diappointed.
Anyway, it costs too much for average Joe's, luckily for me, I win games, so I've got some extra money.
> Online gaming is for the future, and thats all i really think.
If online is the future of gaming, then gaming has no future. I'm online with my PC, and yeah it is fun sometimes, but it is vastly overrated.
The games often get boring and repetitive due to a lack of anything varied or original, and I've lost count of the amount of times I've been insulted by some moron who thinks he is better than me at playing a certain game online just because they spend ever waking minute practicing everything there is to know about the game.
It's a fun option, but something I could easily live without. Now 2-4 playing gaming, that's where games developers "should" be concentrating on, and I can tell you, playing a game with three of your friends is certainly allot more fun then playing a game with 31 complete strangers calling themselves "n00b killah".
obviously in the future connections will get faster, meaning less lag will appear in games. Also hopefully it will get easyer and cheaper to connect.
I like the idea of shooting, driving etc etc online, but the fun would be sucked out of it if it moved at the pace of a snail carrying a large brick up a hill.
Maybe just one fee, monthy, or yearly. I dont like the idea of having to pay £5 to sega, £5 to nintendo and £5 to EA each week to play just one game. One off pay per month to nintendo and id be on.Maybe the best idea is to pay for amount of hours, and they never run out. So you pay £10 and get 10 hours to play with.
A lot of games must be out out, and more to come. I wont pay money for 2 months to play a game then get bored, so stop the connection and then start it up again 3 months later cause a new game comes out.
