And that at the moment is me. Over the past week, when loading a game on my PS2 it has been making a rather unusual ticking noise, its not the laser moving, its another strange noise, and it started to worry me. Then, 3 times during the last 3 days, when turning my PS 2 on, waiting for it to load the game up it had said " Disc Error" or something to that effect.
This has happened on 3 games, GTA 3, Pro Evo and Smackdown 3. Its only happened on these games as there the only ones i have played other the last week.
Im not sure what to do, is it just a one off and will the problem go away, or should i ring Sony, bare in mind the 24th November has gone and so has my warranty, will they do anything or will they charge me as i can not afford to pay for a replacement.
Anyone else had a similar problem, and what should i do?
Anyway, better go, this internet time is costing me!
Cya!
However i can just see a wopping bill of £200 coming in the post soon. :D
But no, i think Sony has let me off as it was only just out of warranty.
The thing i want to know is, do i have another years warranty on my new PS2?
Oh, and i also got a better pad from them, i had to give them one in replacement of mine, so i gave them one that had the rubbers loose on top of the analog sticks. :D
Well anyway, at least my PS2 works again and will work over a period where its going to get a lot more playing than usual, after all, in this month alone i will have 7 new games coming!
Cheers :D
