Since they got rid of GAD1 there is a total lack of posts and lots less people posting in general. I thought this would happen but told myself people werent that shallow and werent in it just for the games. I was wrong.

I'm simply expressing my annoyance and anger at some people who flee as soon as the free stuff is no longer on offer. Quite sad really, I hope the forums don't shrivel up and die but at least the posts that are made are genuine and not 'GAD attempts' which shows there will be quality but not quantity.

You’re the same as me. I do make attempts to win games, but only through writing reviews.

I don't really post here for free games. Obviously, seeing as I've never made an attempt. I generally like these forums.

You have to expect standard to drop now there is no prize on it.

If you had an idea for a post, you might post the idea. If there's a chance of winning something for being a better post than everyone elses, then you're gonna put a lot more polish into it in the hope you win.

Now the lure of the win has gone, there is no need to polish the posts, so people with ideas just type them up and post them.

And of course people are going to leave. There have been loads of people here for the GAD in the past (proven by which console is beter topics), so why not now there is no gad?

Personally, I'll be staying, but if I have something to say, I'm much more likely to just say it rather than type it out in another program, proofrread it, spell check it and then post it here....

What's the problem? Now you'll have to stick with this for a second... I'm measuring the "drop" in quality based on how many posts I've made today. This isn't because I think all my posts are great and therefore the only thing people come here for; I say it because I'm having no problem finding interesting things to comment on.

Stop moaning. If you think the place really is going downhill (and after only a day you can't even begin to come to any conclusions) make an interesting post rather than complaining in a totally uninteresting post (I'm not getting at you or anything, just encouraging a proacticve solution rather than sitting crying into your milk). GAD attempts didn't account for a huge percentage of the posting here - the drop in the post count between yesterday and today is slight.

I was here to win the GAD's, always, that's why I made a grand total of 5 GAD attempts before realising that I couldn't be bothered and I'd need to win twice before geting a game as I have no money for a membership..

Actually, it was pure coincidence that the GAD1 departure and me going to a friends' house for the night.
