Seeing as they keep getting buried in the WLT, i'll place them here. If anyone else wants to use this theyre welcome to and i'll questions to the main post.

1. Why would a HDD display half the memory it supposedly has?

2. Can anyone find a command list for Caldera-DOS?

3. Is it possible to replace Caldera-DOS with MS-DOS?

I'm sure there are more i've forgotten. I'll check back.

Where from? I went from Torrentspy i think and they all looked stripped down.

Very strange. You said your XP iso was stripped down? If I were you I'd download a 'full' XP disc. I've installed a few copies of XP from something I torrented and it's worked fine and as you'd expect. Actually if I were you I'd get Fedora instead but there you go.

Yes drive capacity. When i was formatting the drive the 20GB HDD was displaying as 10GB. I think it said the same when i was in BIOS or startup

I have a MS-DOS startup disk that i created off this pc.

If you mean hard drive capacity I would need to know what size it is displaying. Size limitations can be a result of the BIOS and the file system.

To display help on commands enter DOSBOOK at the command prompt.

You can install MS DOS but you would need to format first.
