1. Why would a HDD display half the memory it supposedly has?
2. Can anyone find a command list for Caldera-DOS?
3. Is it possible to replace Caldera-DOS with MS-DOS?

The front panel display cables, i thought i had what goes where sorted but apparently not.
I have 5 cables
2 x Blue and White cables (2 pin holes each)
1 x Red and Black cable (4 pin holes)
1 x Red and white cable (2 pin holes)
1 x Green cable (3 pin holes)
The pins are ( / indicates a space)

From top left
(SMI)(Pow-On)(HDD-LED)(Keylock)
From bottom-left
(Nothing here)(SP-LED)(Speaker)(RESET)
Motherboard is Asus AB-BX6 if that helps.

Yeah i wouldnt bet on it having being made in the last 10 years.

Hm, well, I'm not sure what's happening there. It might be that the disc isn't bootable and you do need to use that make bootable disc thing, or it might be caused by the fact it's not a full XP thing.
