However, sometime next week (providing there ain't any problems) I shall be returning as a BT Broadband user.
Who thought I was going because of the cancellation of GAD1?
Go on....admit it!
Yay! Whoo Broadband!

Two wouldn't have been enough for us either, but one of us had the bright idea of using one on the main socket for downstairs, and one for the wire going upstairs - which actually works with the way we have out phone sockets in our house.
Cleverness.

Lucky! Our's came about 5 days before, and they hadn't got it ready.
And what's the jip with just two ADSl convertors? We had to order more!
I'm on cable right now, but when I move out sometime next year, I'll be on 56k... urgh, I don't want to even think about it. Been using cable for about a year, going back will make me cry.
So I tried plugging it in, and they had already activated the line! Silly BT...2 days free broadband ;)
It's the thermometer thing - we need 400 to show an interest.
It was stuck on about 97 for absolute aaageeeeessss. But then, as if some miracle occured, it shot up to 272 in a matter of days.
Yay!
Only 128 to go.
I shall spread the word.
Thing is though - most people who use computers in my town are complete nonces, and don't sign up because they think they have to pay.
Bah.
Infact, I might make some leaflet things...
Yes, I'm that desperate.
Stupid BT gave us the wrong package deal. Instead of a home package, they gave us some gay coporate business thing. It'll be sorted out, it's just annoying.
