My PS2 has just died and I am considering changing to an x-box instead of another PS2. The only thing is I'd really miss playing vice city, so am wondering if it will be coming out on the x-box any time soon (if ever).
Also, any valid reasons why I should (or should not) change would be appreciated (I don't mean rubbish like Ps2's are crap, X-box's are great)

I've decided to jump on the bandwagon and go for an xbox. Two of my friends have them with halo, and I think its the thought of owning my own copy that clinched it. I will keep my old ps2 and maybe get it fixed in the future, the ps2 as a console still has life in it yet, I don't think sony have put a foot wrong yet and I eagerly await the ps3 too.
i chose the games halo, mgs2 (which I had on ps2 and loved), and fifa 2003 (maybe a bad choice some of you may say, but I really want a football game, and the fifa's i've had in the past weren't that bad). my next purchase will be project gotham racing i reckon.

The XBox is an excellent console to own, I won't go into why you should own one because people have been doing that already so I don't need to repeat any of their reasons - I have a topic somewhere that went over it all.
As for games you should own, I think you should be looking at these...

Panzer Dragoon Orta
Phantom Crash
Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis
Indiana Jones & The Emperor's Tomb
Splinter Cell (there is actually a pretty big difference in the way this plays to MGS)

In my opinion I think its a good idea to go for the Xbox.

I think you will find that Driver 3 is coming out on the Xbox and as for Driver 4 I don't know where you have heard this but as of yet the game doesn't exist. Its all about opinions and if Mantis thinks that Project Gotham Racing is better than GT3 then no one else can tell him otherwise. Fanboy talk, please don't make me laugh just take a look at what you wrote and then compare it to what Mantis wrote. Mantis didn't once laugh at a PS2 game but because you are so ignorant and narrow minded you thought you would take up the oppertunity to have a pop at a few Xbox games that you will have NEVER even played. Stop being so childish and grow up a little bit. The fact that any console 'can do no wrong' is rubbish and the fact that all 3 consoles offer differen't reasons to buy them is something that you need to realise.

I bet you'll be amongst the first to plummet for Driver 4 when it come out, or even GTA:Next when one comes out on XBox next year.
