Well done to Richard Burns, who today became the first Englishman to become World Rally Champion in the history of the sport.

OH YES!!!

Channel 4 has got LIVE coverage of all three days of next years World Rally Championship, starting in Monte Carlo next February.

Looks like I'll be feeling ill on quite a few fridays next year....

I don't care about Rally Driving, but he's done something nobody else in the UK has before.

He may only have won one of the rounds, but he was the most consistent, finishing higher than his opponents in those rounds where he wasn't first.

It's your over-all performance that counts, not individual wins. The others didn't just retire - they crashed out in spectacular style - something which Burns didn't do, so give the guy some credit!
