Well, almost anyway. 100 down to 41.

9:00 on C4 I think. 3 hours long too!!!

It's concluded on Sunday (another 3 hours) with 40 down to the number one spot.

Who's watching it?

LA Confidential came about 26 or something and that was fair.

Some Like it Hot should have never been as high as it was but it is still a damn funny film. Jack Lemmon rules.

I hate It's a Wonderful Life. I really can't stand it.

I'm happy Blade Runner was high (don't think it should have been top 10 mind) aas that film is great.

And I am truly appalled that Heat wasn't in there. It was really what the films had done for that particular genre or cinema as a whole. I mean Enter the Dragon did wonders for martial arts movies but as one of the best 100 films ever made. I don't think so. On top of that, it's not even Bruce Lee's best film. Then there is Crouching Tiger. Great film but it was only at number 18 because of what it did for Asian films. I mean, there is no way that is the 18th best movie ever made.

And what did I tell you? Shawshank would be in the top 3.

3 - Reservoir Dogs " Are you gonna bark all day, little doggie, or are you gonna bite?"
4 - Usual Suspects "And like that, he's gone"
5 - Pulp Fiction " Oh, I'm sorry. Did I break your concentration?"
6 - K Smith Film [Any] "Snoogins"
7 - Jaws "dun dun dun DUN DUN DUN"
8 - The Italian Job. "Your only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!"
9 - Godfather [better put it in]
10 - Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade/Raiders of the Lost Ark/Temple of Doom "Sssh, Junior."

There we go. None of those poncy comfort films like Some Like it Hot and It's a Wonderful Life.

Shawshank Redemption? IN THE TOP 10?! What is our world coming to. And Star Wars No 1? Actually, probably right. But Gladiator should have been no 2. Indiana Jones wasn't even on it, and that is a travesty of modern justice.

Grrr, no K Smith film on it. Clerks should have been there, best indy film ever.

And Titanic, all the way down at 54? I dislike this film immensely, but 11 Oscars means it should be higher. Onwards in my complaining rant... LA Confidental, only in the 30's. Tut tut tut. SOME LIKE IT BLOODY HOT, in the top 30, let alone top 5?!?! Bloody hell. Sodding British public. Moan Moan Moan..

Goodfellas and Godfather in Top 10? I hate Italian-American movies.

Right, thats me off the official moaning box.

Oh, one more thing. That is the last time a camp guy who isn't funny will ever pretend to know anything about films. Let Barry Norman present it, even though he hates Star Wars.

Empire Strikes back was better. Damn Star Wars how the hell is that the best film ever? It's good but it certainly isn't the best film ever.
