" Oooh I have a Dreamcast, Playstation and Playstation 2 but I can't wait till I get a Gamecube and X-Box... even thought I don't like anything but my gameboy and Pokemon "
Wise up, be bloody grateful to have what you have. Now I come from a fairly wealthy back ground I suppose, just I am not spoiled... never have been, never will be, thanks to my great parents... and why I have such a superb personality and my views and morals rock, unlike you lot who the only problem in your lifes is that on Level 7 of Tomb Raider or something you can't make that jump.
Now I might be being a bit harsh but for a selected minority on here I see you as being that... what I try to understand is... your just a young teenager and you have all these games and consoles where do they come from?
Now me, I have a PC, thats it. I'm not really a hardcore gamer, never really have been or ever will be with school these days, its just something I do when I'm bored or want to challenge myself. Then theres those who I don't see as being spoilt but are into games and any cash they have they buy with it... I know for a fact Grix worked his asss off during Summer for money to get his Gamecube... theres those who get a console and games for Christmas, I find that totally reasonable... you wait for it all year, get it at Christmas, respect it and like it more.
However for those who come on here saying there getting it when it comes out... from where? you making your parents flog £300 like that... you don't necessary need to be wealthy to be spolit... just all money is spent on you... then theres those who get a £300 console for their birthdays... this I'm not too sure, I don't get that much spent on me at birthdays, don't mind. Its in January after Christmas so id forgotten about but no way would I EVEN ASK MY PARENTS to flock £300 at my birthday.
I will get shot for this but just look at yourself... I hope you appreciate your parenst love for you, I already do without them throwing money at me... just respect what you've got and be happy of th family you've got... stop coming on here like spolit brats and arguing over stuff... discussions is what you do, you know the civilised manner of stating views not what Goatboy got to a tee:
" Soyn beated up Nintedeo any dazs of week "
Why did I deceide to write this? My parents are buying me far too much for Christmas and I'm not happy with them... you must think I'm sort of retard, they say I "deserve" it this year with all my grades and such... NO . Yes dad might have got an increase in wages but no I'm happy way things are and so should you.
As for the oldies... they have jobs there allowed to spent £300+ when they want, can't you? :D
Just think in future you lot, going to live off your parents forever? You don't need to get a big job, I'm not, I'm owning a record shop... but I will be looking after myself instead of being spoilt through my life expecting other people to look after me.
No posts saying, who are you talking about? To be honest I don't know... just when I read these posts it makes me angry and not just you lot, people who are like that in general.

When i was about 6 my dad got me a megadrive, I thought it was the best thing since sliced bread, but when a few years had past and i got bored of it my dad decided to get me a N64 i was about 9-10 and of course stick someone infront of an italian plumber you have got a match in heaven. But once again as time passed and I got bored my dad got a Playstation, by this age I was starting to realise that I had loads more stuff than everyone else.
Later on my dad got me a Gameboy color. and I got my P.C by a complete fluke, you see there were a few problems with my family, and when my mum left my dad gave me her P.C, but then she came back with a P.C that somebody else had bought for her. Now to the dreamcast, it was originally my brothers but he was a little skint for cash so my dad bought it off him for me. Finally the PS2. It was no special occasion but he just went out and came back with it.
As you can tell my dad is pretty loaded (that's why I have got everything), but I've decided to buy my own games consoles and all other stuff before it gets out of hand.
I have a PS2 and a dreamcast bought both myself, i got my PS1 for a christmas birthday combined present a few years back when it came out which was a total surprise and ill admit i was being spoilt then ! Not overly spoilt though.
I helped pay for my own SECOND hand PC (this one) which then i paid for upgrades which were needed. Im nearly 18 and work for my money while still at school.
Im not spoilt and i agree, all these kids who go on about what their gonna get and how theve just bought a PS2 but dont play on it and are gonna reject it when they get their x-box really get to me ! Just be greatful for what uve got ! A game consoles life span is 5 years, therefore to be honest u need only purchase one that often especially when they are 300 a pot !!!!!
Nice to be mentioned Sheepy, and excellent written topic... one of the best in a while actually. Good luck on the GAD, I'll be upset if this doesn't win.
My problem is I'll go out and earn money, and then I'll go and blow it all. :D
I earned about six hundred pounds over Summer, serving burgers in a stuffy theme park food outlet for 12 hours a day. It sucked, yeah, but it was a hell of an experience. I got a letter through the post asking if I'll come back, and I probably will. Need the money for Uni/job, and it's easier to just tick a box and get a job than go for another interview.
Saying that though... we are well off as a family, and I understand how lucky we are. I am given anything I want.
There are many things I want. I just won't tell my parents about them, because I'm afraid of being spoilt myself... because I know they will. If I am just given things instead of having to work for them, what the hell would life be like? Perhaps this has left me rather shy, and forcing me to withhold my feelings instead of sharing them, but I'd rather be like that, than have be utterly lazy towards what keeps me alive.
The hardest thing in life you'll have to work for, in my experience anyway, is love, and that's something you've got to work with alone. :0)
And this iMac isn't even mine, it's the family's... Damn rich kids getting everything for them... *mumble mumble*
bought a PS2 and all the games for it (lets say at least 400)
All the games for ure N64 (prob at least 200)
Put 750 towards a family PC
And plan to buy a gamecube (200, with games another 100)
Tell me if im wrong but for a 14 yr old u must have a VERY well paid job !!!!!!!
