Morrowind is a fantastic RPG if you have the time for it.

So, I decided after looking at this thread, it needed editing.

Morrowind discussion, discuss about Morrowind.

Pretty straight forward really.

Tell us your Morrowind storys, cool stuff you've done ect.

There's a really tiny plug-in you can get that lets you take all your rats/scribs/slaves etc. out of Mournhold and into the rest of the game world.

I was sent to a tomb to retrieve golden eggs.
Along the way I was attacked by 3 Orcs. I handed all their ass to them and robbed them of their precious things.
Then I went superfly in the mine and obliterated the Kwama Queen. As I sang "Kwama Kwama Kwama Kwama kill-Queen ee-o..."

The guy who sold me the pack Rats, also sells normal Rats at 25 coins each. I am going to buy a vermin army and pied piper it around Mournhold, spreading disease and pestilence like it was confetti. They shall be led by my Scrib general, Shifty, who will lead them on to glory.

"I love them smell of Rat wee in the morning....it smells like...victory".

Then we'll all go sufing in the sewers whilst Wagner reverberates around the carcophany.

All this cleave, cleft and smite lingo cracks me up....

Anyway, being a collector of secrets I have something to tell: you may have them, you may not, but here's two more good *constant effect* items worth owning:

"The Masque of Clavicus Vile" - boosts Personality by 30pts. Women will swoon and men will find you strangely alluring.
Skorvild the Raven has it, and he is found in his tower on the outskirts of Dagon Fel. He's a hard b*stard though, and he's protected by other hard b*stards, so be careful.

"Marara's Ring" - Reflect 20%, boosts Acrobatics by 10pts, resist normal weapons 40%.
In possession of Marara the vampire who is found in a Drethan ancestrial tomb on an island south-east of Dagon Fel. [more south than east].

Both *constant effect* enchanted items.
The Masque of Clavicus Vile makes you look like a grim sentinel who stands at the gates of Hell - but this is a good thing in my view.

I got me a Dai-Katana, enchanted it and now it fells *anything* with a single smite.

Just have to try and move around the island a bit quicker. I got me those fast-bootie things but still....

Last night I purchased a Packrat from someone in Mournhold, to carry insidious burdens on my behalf over hill and dale, through sewer and dungeon. I named him Lucky. Anyway being a bit sad I was looking forward to roaming the realm with a Rat (as you do) and it would be nice to be able to have a mobile repository for all my loot.

The problem with this plan soon became apparent. You see the lazy programmers had obviously overlooked the glaring bug that occurs when you accessed the Rat's inventory. Basically you couldn't exit it unless you gave the Rat the command to stay. However every time you asked it to follow it would simply reply "squeak?". This angered my Nord who then chopped Rat asunder.

Lucky too, was then purchased simply for some company; and we set off to the sewers, which is a great way to meet other like minded individuals and discover interesting smells for my collection. Lucky too, was doing a grand job scampering after me and we were becoming great friends. But then we happened upon two Skeletons and without warning plucky Lucky too attacked them with a fury that I've never seen a pack animal possess before. He was cleft into oblivion with the Skeletons first blow.

R.I.P Lucky too
2003-2003

He was a stupid example of vermin and won't be missed. Lazy and stupid. So very very stupid. And lazy. And dead.

"Rat's life, so all the people said..."

Like the random mission problem with GTA3 on the PS2 I believe that some of the Morrowind discs on the Xbox are rpone to constant crashing and freezing. There is nothing you an do about it apart from go out and get another copy. The same happened with GTA 3 for me and one of the missions couldn't be completed. It was near the end as well which meaned I had to retstart the whole game to get 100%. Took me a few restarts but finally I managed to get the gang to show up.
