Yeah it is, stupid NGC.

I thought the last 2 levels were too easy really. 2nd to last was just a case of get on higher ground and mow down the enemy as they run down the trench.

Excellent game though.

One thing I found was there was a massive bug on the level where you're inside the base and you get the scientist to disarm the bomb. Everytime I switched players when I was inside the base, for some strange reason one of my soliders would end up outside running away. At first I thought he'd gone a bit schitso when an enemy had chucked a grenade but it kept happening and I lost a few times because of it.

It took me about a week to complete this game on medium difficulty but I was hooked. I thought that the most difficult levels were the the POW one and the nuclear disarmament level. I had forgotten how to call an airstrike and didn't use it till the Saudi Arabian town level, when I tried it I wiped out my whole squad. Did anyone else find the last level too easy?

That's actually a picture from Ghost Recon, if I'm correct (which I'm probably not).

It's nothing like anything to do with Conflict.

Are the American and English missions any different? Cus the picture in NGC's top cube game list looks quite different in Layout of items compared to my game!

Well, if something that looks like a tank doesn't blow up in an air strike, and when you walk over to it there's a tree roughly where you called one in, then you've got to assume that it was the tree who was the victim of your air strike.

There was no tank wreckage, and a definitely called in an air strike on something, and when I walked over to the area where I called it, there was a tree there, so nywargh!

Huh, in the PS2 version you could only attack enemies.

Damn damn damn damn damn!

I, by mistake, saved over my SAS file where I had gotten to level 8 on Medium. Me and a mate spent hours on end getting there, and I'm really quite unhappy.

But luckily I had a US Delta Force file where I was at level 6, so we're just starting from there again. I don't like the Delta Force, but it'll have to do for now, as I don't want to work my way through it all over again.

Oh, and I called in an airstrike on a tree yesterday, thinking it was a tank.

:-D

Reminds me of Operation Flashpoint. War always leaves you with stories, even if they're just virtual. So does Paintballing. Anyway, Operation Flashpoint. The memory at the forefront of my mind at the moment was when I was entrenched, with about 15 gaurds running at me (it seemed like 15). Anyway, I only had a sniper rifle with me so I took up an offensive position (and I don't mean a moonie) and fired off round after round. It was unbelievable watching the soldiers fall, one-by-one, until all 20 had been killed (the kill-count get's higher each time). Someone should create a war stories post...
