"My Next Short(ish) Story"

Well, it's that time again. I'm nearing the end of my latest story, called Freedom. It's been the hardest to write yet, which is why it's taken so long (sorry for the wait.)

Lots of new names in the story this time around, with a few regulars I used to know gone, and lots of new people. Lots of you are included, even if it's just a small part.

I'm not finished yet, and it's already over 8,000 words. So, I warn you that it's not something you'll read in 10 minutes or so. {:)

But I would really appreciate it if you did just read it. I don't care how long it takes-whether you read it on the day it was posted, or whether you finally manage to finish it a month after it's posted, I don't mind. If you could just reply to it with some feedback, perhaps what you liked about the story and what you didn't, then I'd really appreciate it.

Finally, I hope you enjoy it. Those of you who have read my previous ones will know I'm based towards more of a comedy, or sci-fi type of story. This one is much more serious, and I'm not sure if it will work or not. I hope it does.

So once again thank you for giving me this opportunity, and with some hard work and a bit of luck, the story should be up within the next 10 days (as long as homework doesn't become too much.)

If it was more popular, then I would have continued and finished it, and it would be a real laugh, because it was designed to be funny, but not (intentionally) offensive.

Ant, it's Gaming Boy here. Just wanted to say that I have just changed my nickname, so if I was in the story, you might need to change it, or if it's easier, keep it as Gaming Boy, because everyone recognises that.

The only problem I've got is fitting in people. Sibs, FM, WolfHound, Tiltawhirl and a couple of others all need at least a couple of lines...
