Hi all,
I'm new to these forums so I thought I would introduce myself before wading into a conversation all unexpected like... I'm 25, male, work in Leeds for a company with a pretty large website where I do general codemonkey stuff in... TCL mwahahaha, that probably stumped all but the most hardcore of you. I also know ASP, a bit of SQL Server, IIS Oracle... blah blah, and tinker with HTML and general Internet stuff.
You seem to know your stuff in here, though I have noticed in my lurking (oh yes, I have been in the background for about a week) it is getting a bit stressed in here, so I'll try and lend my calming influence if possible.

Oh, and "hi" by the way. I'm Rob, and I'm currently working on the forum's website, WebTech (luke.ac6.org/webtech/site/index.php for working updates. It's on luke's 512kb NTL, so don't expect it to be fast).
Why do you use Tcl/Tk? From the little I know about it it's a pretty low level and quite slow language. It's a bit like mIRC script which I'm quite good at (ask Whooo or Reaper, but Reaper's the real mIRCmonkey). Compiled, isn't it? I like your site, very nice design, and by the colour scheme I could just tell you're from Leeds! ;-) Who's your company?
