Mine would have to be Boulderdash or Mario 64.

As a teenager I played Boulderdash (C64) all night at weekends, frequent eigth hour + sessions.

100's of hours in total.

Played through all Boulderdash's, but none as perferct as 1.

Then Mario 64 too, but once you finally finish it, well that's it, not been back since.

Love long gaming sessions, not so practical in adult life tho.

You always have to keep the trebs guarded as well, useless other wise.

Only if you let them. Always keep your trebs as far away as possible.

And don't forget castles- they'll damage your trebuchets pretty easily as well.

Unless they line their base with towers/bombard towers but then you just bring a few trebuchets with you and poof, you win.

Also there great for clearing trees, if there are trees at the back of the enermy just cut in and fire arrows. They cant do a thing.

That is a minus, but they are great for causing panic, death, carnage and disruption. AND you can fire them at land, so you can kill several unwanted units in one go, without having to bother with the suicide option.

Mangonels always kill your own men. And when your allies have them its even worse because they just randomly fire at you.

No. Not when you have paladins to take care of.

Either that, or an army of elite longbowmen, monks and mangonels.

Trebuchets. Battering rams with haldberdiers garrisoned inside and... more trebuchets.

That'l easily take out your "un-beatable" plan.
