All this ideas to make Monkey ball 3 better and the other post about Mario Sunshine not being a proper sequel has lead me to post this. I know it's a long way off but what should be in the next Mario game?

Should it be set in the classic Mushroom Kingdom?

Or maybe in a new location?

Should they let Mario use his FLUDD as the main weapon?

Or should he use his fists and legs like in Mario 64?

Let me know what you all think.

Paper Mario is an undiscovered classic of a game.

I hope they make a Mario RPG 2.

I would kill to see some kind of Mario rpg. Seriously. Running around Super Mario Sunshine, it was so frustrating to be able to see the other levels but not be able to run between them. I think it's within Nintendo to design a consistent but varied world for Mario to run around inside, explore, question the natives etc. I always found Zelda to be a bit wooden next to the acrobatic Mario, but Mario less absorbing and engaging than Zelda's huge worlds. A move by Mario towards the Zelda franchise (but not too far!) could yield imo the best game ever made.

Yep, it definetly wouldn't suit Mario.

They sholdn't make it cell shaded because it just wouldn't work.

Mario Sunshine style graphics just better will be fine.

128 should be set back in the mushroom kingdom, they should loose fludd and have plenty of snow levels.

Did anyone have Super Mario All Stars back on the SNES? Aw, that was one cartridge that kept me busy for years, so many games, so many classics, great bundle that.

I'd rather they surprised us with a non cel shaded game.

But make it another Mario 64 level game.

By the time that game came out, I had started saving for the gamecube so I didn't buy any more games for N64, was a good game though.
