I don't want to have two characters to a kart ALL the time, but it is a cool idea.

they should have a costume change option for peach, and have toad as her partner.
It also suggest Peach will be with Mario...
I guess you can pick it however... and alternate between characters to maximise weapon use is a great idea!

I personally think it should be Toad, as he's got to be in it. Unless he takes up his stupid announcing job like he had in Mario Party games - then it'd have to be Daisy that's Peach's partner.
