No, because you wouldn'tve seen what the gameplay is like. Personally, I can sod graphics for all I care - I'd rather have amazing gameplay. Might be my fault there - I think I got a little confused :|

Oh, Ok. Sometimes (but not always), change is good. What I hate in screenies is that they always take out the HUD and stuff, so it looks like a programmer screenie (where they can manipulate the camera angles to make it look better).

Which is nice.

Those specs look pretty high.
The beauty of HL was that it ran on my old K6/2 300Mhz Voodoo3 combo perfectly. Well, that and the fact it was a great game, but you see my point. (Probably.)

Actually the Minimum specs are alot lower than that! I'll find out exactly what they are and post them.

Right the minimum specs are a PIII 700Mhz with 128mb ram and a 16mb Graphics card. That's taken from this months PC Zone magazine. Read it if you don't believe me. The only trouble with playing it on a system with these specs is that you will lose a little bit of the shiny surfaces!

What happens if we don't belive 'it'? :P
That just a predicition or an official announcement from Valve?

And 16mb 3D Card? I'd be suprised - thats a voodoo 3 standard, my money would be on a 32mb Geforce 2 at least.

Looking at those specs, and considering the game, I'd estimate that those are the minimum specs if you'd like to see a nice slideshow that changes picture slightly every second.

I'm pretty sure it's an offical announcment from valve. Hey managed to run the original smoothly on the minimum specs so don't be so suprised if half-life two runs on the minimum specs.
