That actually looks a little disappointing, but if the gameplay and story line are as solid as the original, it'll definately end up in my growing collection.

Looks like 'salright, but having said that, they were my first impressions of the original, and as that moved down the development line I thought it started getting better and better, so we'll see.

Can't see it being released this year though, no matter what valve say.

actually when HL 1 was released i don't remember them being that amazing....that's cos it as constantly delayed and there were graphically better games....
but the HL experience was brilliant...if the gameplay is good...that's all that matters cos the screenshots aren't awful!

The screenshots look great, looks like I finally hacve something to really look forward to this year I played the original Half Life to death and still play mods made for the game to this day. Hopefully the developers can repeat the sucess of the original game.

Aren't awful but i think Deus Ex was better.. both games had poor Multiplayer but until the mods ofr HL came out it was saved.

Valve attempted to take over the domination on the on-line world that ID software had with Quake II. They did fairly well, but the MODS made a hell of a lot of difference. (CS and DoD to name a few) And the official addons, like OpForce and Blue Shift.

How can you say it looks disappointing? Those graphics are amazing! And it's not fair to judge a game on graphics if you haven't played it :)

HL2 should rock. I'll be first in line to get that :)

Isn't that a bit of a contradiction?

Yeah i know Half-Life 2 will rock mate, by saying it looks dissapointing i meant it like, it doesn't look like Half-Life, it looks so unfamiliar but i didn't mean to make it sound bad.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
