What does you think of the the new gamecube pad? the c buttons have now gone into a Control stick style thingy...and it looks like it handles like a Playstation Pad...as 2 handle reaching your tumbs down to the 2 sticks....Built in rumble pack also with the choice of getting a wireless pad....

The Gamecube controller took the longest of all Nintendo controllers to design. Something like 2 years! It was probably because Shigsy an co. changed it so many times.

But it was worth it apparantly, because it's the best controller out of the 3 competing consoles.

I still haven't held one yet :-(

erm I don't really think 3rd parties will release pads of different sizes. If they were going to do that, why wouldn't they have done it with previous controllers. It's just Microsoft doing it with the X-Box cos NO-ONE in Japan likes it, so their trying their hardest to get some people to like it!

The pad feels a lot better than a Playstation one. It is great and goes with the game whatever it is you are playing. Great pad. Can't wait for my British GC to come. Played a Jap one though. Great.

alot of people are saying (mainly in ninty magazines) that the controll is too small for people with big hands , like in NGC mag , they said that after a while your index finger cramps up a bit , and stuff like that. But it does look ace !! , cooky , you say your mates getting 3 more controllers ! thats like 90 odd quid ! must have got some spare cash.

I havent used one of the pads, but they do look ace. I would of prefered the Z trigger button to be undeneath, like the N64 pad, like a gun trigger!

I've played on one a couple times!

I've played Wave Race and Luigi's Manshion!

Also i've just become quite good friends with someone who's got one! He only has one pad at the moment, but he's finally getting 3 more tomorrow!

Then i'm gonna go round his house n play multiplayer Wave Race and 4 player Super Monkey Ball!

Ain't life GREAT!

The Gamecube pad is the best out of the new pads. Don't try to compare it to the PS pad but saying it's similar cos it has two sticks! The main stick on the GC pad is situated in a normal position. Inline with your hand to produce a comfy playing hand position. Kinda like the N64 and Dreamcast pads. The PS pad on the other hand has both sticks towards the lower middle part of the pad, and you have to stretch your thumbs over to use em. This doesn't seem too bad if you only play on Playstations, but try using a PS pad after hours of GC, N64 or Dreamcast gaming and you will see how badly designed it really is!

The Gamecube pad ROCKS!
